The summer has officially arrived in the Blue Mountains, and we couldn’t be happier with the warmer temperatures and sunshine to fully embrace the season and everything it has to offer in our lovely community. There are endless activities to enjoy in the area, from kayaking and swimming in the bay, to fun beach days with friends and a variety of official events hosted by the town for the holiday weekends or in between. This blog will be focused on one of our personal favourites, live music in the Blue Mountains.

Both the Team Leads from our team, Steve and Marla Simon, are fortunate to have an extensive music background working in Sony Music, one of the top record label businesses in the industry. The current marketing manager Laurel, also has a music background from personal experience as a keyboard player and singer in the Marsh Street Rocks program, where kids and adults in the community have a chance to let their musical creativity shine with a band and perform in front of an audience on the final night. It is safe to say that music holds a special place in our hearts at Lifestyles North, and although Steve and Marla have successfully transitioned to the Real Estate industry, it is something they will always incorporate into their lives and hold a strong appreciation for.

The Blue Mountains community has been a source of inspiration for many local artists and festivals that have taken place throughout the years. Musical events have been hosted from many venue spaces that enhance the experience and give a further appreciation for the area. As a prime example, it could be hosted in a nice beach setting, a fancy restaurant, even a church or pleasant outdoor space, the opportunities are endless and ever-changing with the seasons.

With the summer season in full swing, our team will most definitely be attending some of the events and enjoying the local talent and other musicians that will be performing. It is a great opportunity to have an enjoyable experience with friends or solo, surrounded by our warm community in the summer months. Here are our top picks for the season ahead.
