Why She Chose Thornbury

Although the music aspect of Thornbury is Lisa’s favourite, she describes it as a beautiful community inside and out with a friendly group of people who are always supportive and kind to one another. She has highlighted the fact that there is no place she would rather live due to the community that has been built, and the connections that are shared between business owners and people alike. Some of her favourite things to do in the area include; enjoying the local views and hiking spots, skiing at Alpine, and eating at the Cheese Gallery or Thornbury Bakery. Her favourite place to enjoy the local live music is the Bruce Wine bar for reggae or open mic nights.
